Welcome to West Platte Elementary!

WPE is a pre k through sixth grade facility that serves roughly340 students.  Our school has at its’ core the Expeditionary Learning School Design.  Our students are immersed in inquiry based activities as they strive to master Missouri Grade Level Expectations (GLE’s).  We feel education and a strong belief in oneself is the key to developing a healthy and productive life.  At WPE the following ten principles drive our educational program.
